Gel

The 3 Techno and House music veterans have been around the underground scene since the early nineties.
The band has been part of the Montreal underground scene, performing in many clubs over the years.
Singers Sean Mackenzie and Randall Hodgeman have been teaming up with Ave Mario ever since they met at Montreal's bar Lezard in 1990. Since then, the band released many original tracks. Gel Capsule (Toronto Vicious Underground) Better Place (Catch Me) remixed by Sunny Boyz (Hi-Biais BMG) No Strings Attached/Here We Go (Klub Kultur Music and performed at major venues like Flesh (Metropolis) K.O.X. and bar Lezard (several events).
Both singers Randall Hodgeman and Sean Mackenzie oversee writing the lyrics and Ave Mario Langlois composes and produces the songs. Gel has always been creative and many of their unreleased material will be available in 2024. Their sound is influenced by early techno and house music, which perfectly blends with Randal's unique New Wave/Electro vocals and Sean's soulful voice.
